The Project

The project "In The Footsteps of Early Christianity" is financed by the Phare Programme Bulgaria-Greece "Advancement of the Cultural, Tourist and Human Resources in the Transborder Region" and realized by the Razlog municipality.
Project scope: the Razlog region, Bulgaria, and Drama, Greece
Objects: Early Christian temples, cultural and historical monuments, connected to Christianity; tourist sites and services (food and accommodation, transport, attractions, entertainment, events, etc.); tourism resources in the region – natural landmarks, folklore and traditions, opportunities to experience the diversity of local history, culture and lifestyle. The project aims to create a complete tourism product, which demonstrates and popularizes the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Razlog region.
